There's no set limit to how small these branches can get or how many you can create-if you had enough time and a large enough workspace, you could conceivably create a mind map that breaks the human race down by continent, then by nations, states, cities, and streets, all the way down to each individual human being. These main topics break down into smaller topics and ideas, which can in turn be broken out into even smaller concepts as desired.
